Nokia Reveals Flexible Cell Phone
Nokia and the University of Cambridge jointly revealed a
new stretchable and flexible mobile device of the future called
Morph. This is a new concept of the cell phone of the future
basically, as the phone has the ability to flex, bend, and
stretch. It was revealed at the Design and Elastic Mind exhibition
at the Musuem of Modern Art in New York City.
The Morph acts like a rubber band when you hold it as consumers
will be able to do anything that they want with it. They will
be able to twist it in the shape of a bracelet, stretch it
out to fit in various places, etc. You won't have to worry
about your phone not fitting anywhere in your car for storage
that is for sure.
Nokia says the concept device demonstrates handset features
that nanotechnology might be capable of delivering, including
flexible materials, transparent electronics, and self-cleaning
surfaces.
