Verizon Announced LG Voyager in Titanium

Verizon Wireless and LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. – better known as simply LG Mobile Phones – are launching a new mobile device, the LG Voyager in Titanium. It features a dual screen and the same features as its predecessor. Like the name implies, the cell phone also features a sleek titanium exterior. In addition, it supports V CAST Music with Rhapsody and Visual Voice Mail. These are two of the most popular services offered by Verizon Wireless.

With the LG Voyager in Titanium, users will have access to a musical library containing over five million songs thanks to the V CAST Music with Rhapsody feature. They will be able to buy complete songs right from their phones. They will then be able to download the master copies of their songs onto their computers, “free of digital rights management software”. They will also be able to sync up their favorite music – be it single tracks, whole albums, or personal playlists – from their computers to the Voyager. The phone comes with a USB cable that allows users to do so.

The Visual Voice Mail option will let the phone users manage their messages on the new phone. They will able to delete voice mail messages, reply to them, or forward them – all without having to actually listen to the messages, or to any instructions.

The LG Voyager in Titanium is going for $149.99, after a mail in rebate for $50 dollars. The purchase requires a two year contract. V CAST with Rhapsody comes at $14.99 per month, while Visual Voice Mail is $2.99 per month. These are per line prices. Airtime, megabyte charges, and messaging fees may come extra. It depends on the plan the customer chooses.
